FAQ for cycling brands

Before you pickan Amazon partner.

Ask every partner, us included, who owns your listings, who sets the advertised price, how and when you're paid, what data you see, how you get out and what happens if they close. Here are the questions, with our answers.

The checklist

Ten questions
to ask any partner.

Get the answers in writing, from everyone you talk to. Here's why each one matters, and how we answer it.

You do. Product pages and reviews stay with the product, not the seller, and your Brand Registry stays yours. We ask for a partner role in it.

Why ask: whoever controls your Brand Registry controls what shoppers read about your products.

Each seller sets its own. We set ours independently, and nothing we share with you is an agreement about anyone's advertised prices. Your advertised-price policy stays yours: you set it, communicate it and decide what to do about it.

Why ask: on Vendor Central, Amazon sets its own advertised price, independently of your policy. Our free advertised-price monitoring shows every seller's advertised price on every channel, our own offers included.

We buy it up front and pay within 24 hours of your invoice, at your normal dealer cost. No consignment, no 30- or 90-day terms and no deductions.

Why ask: some partners sell on consignment, pay on long terms or take deductions, so your cash waits on their sales.

We do: Up to 10% of what we pay you. Most other authorized sellers spend about 2.5% (our estimate), so ask anyone you talk to for their number. Your portal shows ours every month.

Your own private brand portal, updated daily. It shows estimated units sold, each seller's share of your Amazon sales, every seller's Prime stock and days of supply, the Buy Box winner for each listing, the results of the ads we fund and our own scorecard: our stock-outs, returns and misses. We confirm exactly what yours includes before you start.

Why ask: you can't judge a partner on numbers you never see. Take the portal tour.

End it any time: There's no minimum term. Unsold stock stays ours, with no buy-backs, markdown money or chargebacks. Content we made is licensed to you for $1 after two years together; before that, we remove it or sell it to you at our cost.

Why ask: some partner contracts set a fixed term or make the brand buy back aged or unsold stock (contracts filed publicly with the SEC and a US court, 2021-2022).

We have zero net debt and pay within 24 hours of your invoice, so we never need your money to run our business and you're never owed for stock we hold. Your listings, reviews and Brand Registry stay with you either way.

Why ask: it happens. In 2024, a publicly traded US company that sold brands' products on Amazon and other marketplaces wound down and closed (Spokane Journal of Business, December 2023). Ask any partner how it's financed and how fast it pays.

Whoever you authorize. We flag everyone else, with the evidence you need to act. Our authorized-seller program is turnkey: we find the sellers, document them, draft the notices, prepare your Brand Registry reports and track each one to the end. You approve and sign.

Why ask: Amazon's Brand Registry protects your trademark and listings. It doesn't stop anyone reselling genuine products.

We'll tell you before you sign. If it's a real conflict, we'll pass. NDA as standard.

No. We don't wholesale to bike shops, so we never compete for your dealers' business.

Fair worries

What brands worry about,
answered straight.

Handing Amazon to a partner means trusting them with your advertised price, your listings and your data. Here's how that works with us.

  • We'll lose control of our listings.

You choose how involved you are: approve every change, help design the pages, or just read the reports. Every listing is checked against your spec sheets, and your Brand Registry stays yours.

  • An Amazon seller will undercut our dealers.

We never sell to bike shops, and you see our advertised prices in your report, next to every other seller's. We set ours on our own.

  • We'll lose sight of our data.

Your portal updates daily and shows every seller on your listings, not just us, plus our own scorecard: our stock-outs, returns and misses. NDA as standard.

  • We'll be locked in.

No minimum term, no fees and no retainer on our standard deal. If it isn't working, end it any time.

  • Our dealers will hate seeing us on Amazon.

Two in three shoppers research online before buying in a store (Salsify survey of US, UK and Canadian shoppers, 2026), so accurate Amazon pages help your dealers close the sale. And we never wholesale to bike shops.

  • Everything rides on one partner.

Your listings, reviews and Brand Registry stay with you whoever sells. You decide who is authorized, and you can end our deal any time.
