Privacy, in plain English.

In short: we collect only what you choose to send us through a form, plus basic technical data needed to run a secure website. We use it to answer you. We don't sell it, we don't use cookies, and we don't track you across other sites.

Who we are and what this covers

This policy explains how Cycle Crew Inc. ("Cycle Crew", "we", "us"), based in San Luis Obispo, California, handles information on www.cyclecrew.com (the "site"). It covers this website only. When you buy from us on Amazon or Walmart, that marketplace's own privacy notice applies to your order.

What we collect, and what we don't

What you send us through our forms

• Contact form: whether you're a brand, a shopper or someone else; your name; your email address; your company or brand (optional); and your message.
• Brand snapshot request: your name, your work email address, the brand you'd like us to look at, its website or Amazon store link (optional) and any note you add.
• Portal link request: your name, your work email address, your brand and any note you add.

With each form message we also record the page it was sent from, the date and time, and your browser's user agent (a short text that names your browser and device type), so we can answer you and spot problems with the form.

What is collected automatically

• Server and security data. Like every website, our hosting service receives your IP address and basic request details (the page asked for, the time, your browser type) in order to deliver the site. Our own logs record the pages requested and whether they loaded, but not your IP address; for form submissions they keep only a scrambled, one-way version of it. We use your IP address briefly, in memory, to limit how many forms can be sent from one connection, which blocks spam.
• Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure how fast our pages load (for example, which pages were viewed, the referring site, and the browser, device type and country). It doesn't use cookies or local storage and doesn't fingerprint your device.

Cookies

This site doesn't set cookies, and it doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies from anyone else.

How we use your information

• To read and answer your message, prepare a brand snapshot you asked for, or resend a partner's private portal link.
• To keep the site and its forms secure and working, including stopping spam and abuse.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and how fast it loads, so we can improve it.

We don't sell your personal information, we don't share it for advertising, and we don't use it to build profiles of you. We never add you to a mailing list because you used a form.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They handle information only to provide their service to us:

• Google Workspace delivers and stores form messages in our business email.
• Railway hosts the site and its server.
• Cloudflare provides the cookie-free visit statistics described above.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or when it's needed to protect our rights, our customers or the public. If our business is ever sold or reorganized, information may move with it, and this policy would continue to apply to it.

How long we keep it

• Form messages stay in our business email for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete them (see below).
• Spam-limit data (the in-memory IP address counts) is cleared within 24 hours, and whenever the server restarts.
• Server logs are kept by our hosting service for a limited period and then deleted.
• Visit statistics are kept by Cloudflare in aggregate form, under its own retention rules.

See, correct or delete your information

You can ask us what information you've sent us through this site, and ask us to correct or delete it. Use our contact form: choose "Distributor or other" and start your message with "Privacy request". We'll reply to the email address you give us, and we may ask you to confirm that the request is really from you.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. We don't track visitors across other websites and we use no advertising or tracking cookies, so the site works the same way whether or not your browser sends the signal.

We don't allow other companies to collect personal information about your activities over time and across different websites through our site. Cloudflare Web Analytics, described above, measures visits to this site only and doesn't follow you to other sites.

Children's privacy

This site is meant for businesses and adult shoppers. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

How we protect it

The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and form messages go only to our own business inbox. No website can guarantee perfect security, but we work to protect the information you send us.

Amazon, Walmart and other sites

The site links to other websites, including Amazon and Walmart. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

If this policy changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
