Our tire sales through Amazon Vendor Central are shrinking. Should we move to an authorized seller?
Often, yes, for the folding and tubeless tires that hang on a bike shop's wall. In late 2024, Amazon told some Vendor Central suppliers it would stop buying from them, most with two to three months' notice.1 You don't have to wait for that letter.
We buy your line up front, at your normal dealer cost, pay within 24 hours of your invoice and keep it in stock on Prime. Your listings and reviews stay with the product, and your Brand Registry stays yours. Or split it: Amazon keeps buying your low-cost and bulky lines, and we take the rest. Life after Vendor Central walks through both.

How do we stop Amazon mixing up 700c, 29-inch and 28-inch tires?
Lead with the ISO size, not the inch name. 700c, 29-inch and 28-inch tires all fit the same 622 mm bead seat, while "26-inch" covers several bead seats that don't fit each other.2 Inch names alone are how a rider ends up with a tire that won't mount.
On every tire we list, the ISO size and the inch name sit side by side in the title and in Amazon's size fields, so search filters show your tire to the riders it fits. Tubes get the same care, with the size range written the same way on every option.
-
How should tire and tube variations be set up so we don't lose reviews?
One family per tire model, with every real difference named. Bead (wire or folding), casing, tubeless-ready or not, width and color each need to be part of the variation. Leave one out and Amazon may break the family apart. For tubes, valve type (Presta, Schrader or Dunlop) and valve length belong in every option.
Since early 2026, Amazon shares reviews across a family only where the differences don't change how the product works, like color or pack count; differences in size, fit or material can keep reviews apart.3 We plan your families around that, so reviews land where shoppers look.
-
Is it safe to call a tire tubeless-ready on an Amazon listing?
Only when your spec sheet says so. We never call a tire tubeless or tubeless-ready unless you rate it that way, and a wire-bead version never borrows that wording from a folding sibling in the same family.
Wrong details on a listing aren't just a lost sale. When a rider relies on a listing and the part doesn't fit or work as described, it can turn into a product-liability claim against the brand. That's why every tire listing we sell is checked against your spec sheet, whoever wrote it.

Does selling tires on Amazon hurt our bike-shop dealers?
It doesn't have to. Your advertised-price policy stays yours: you set it and decide what to do about it, and we set our own advertised prices independently. Partners get free advertised-price monitoring of every seller on every channel, our own offers included. And we don't wholesale to bike shops, so we never compete with your dealers.
Accurate sizes and real photos on Amazon help your dealers too: two in three shoppers research online before buying in a store.4
Where tire listings
go wrong.
Common problems on tire, tube and sealant pages, and what we do about each.
Sizes in the wrong field
A 700c tire filed as 28 inches, or a 27.5 sold as a 26. We correct the size fields against your spec sheet, so filters and search put your tire in front of riders it fits.
Tubes split by hidden differences
Presta and Schrader, short and long valves, singles and multipacks: each needs its own clearly named option. When one is missing, Amazon breaks the family up and riders buy the wrong valve.
Kids' sizes can be children's products
A 16-inch or 20-inch tube sold "for kids" can count as a children's product, which needs a Children's Product Certificate backed by a CPSC-accepted lab.5 We word kids'-size listings with that in mind and keep your certificates on file for when Amazon asks.
Sealant gets a dangerous-goods review
Tubeless sealant is a liquid, so Amazon may review it as a possible dangerous good and ask for a safety data sheet or exemption sheet.6 We already sell sealant on Prime through that review. The details are on our lube, pump and CO2 page.
We sell this
category every day.
We already carry tires, tubes and sealant from many brands. Road, gravel and mountain tires, tubes in every common valve type, tubeless sealant, valves and rim tape, from many brands.
Sealant ships with Prime. We take it through Amazon's dangerous-goods review, the same way we do with our lubes and CO2 cartridges.
Every size gets checked. Bead seat, width, bead type and valve, checked against your spec sheet before a listing goes live.
Every size, not just the best sellers. Popular sizes stocked on Prime before the season; slower sizes can ship merchant-fulfilled.

Tires on Amazon,
answered.
Yes, with a clear fit table. Inserts need tire width, rim inner width and wheel size spelled out, so riders don't confuse an insert with a liner or a tube. We build it from your spec sheet.
Every size and width. We take your whole catalog, not just the fast movers. If one doesn't belong on Amazon, we'll explain why before we skip it.
We stock up before spring and the holidays, using years of order history, so the popular sizes are on Prime when riders need them.
We do. Every ad on your products comes out of our budget, and your brand portal shows the spend every month.
Yes. Plenty of brands split by product line: Amazon keeps the low-cost and bulky items, we take the rest, and we plan any overlap with you product by product.
